Post any images

When did the Photography/Other Images section get so boring that there was a need for a thread where users post any images?

Shouldn't it go in Spam considering they're nothing you can comment on, and certain users are just doing it for a higher post count?

Wow, are you serious? If anybody wanted a page full of rubbish images then I'm sure they'd go to somewhere like FunnyJunk or use Google images..

I think even post what you're listening to has more discussion than the post your images thread.. and why aren't people allowed to talk about the images anyway without getting edited?

I think it's obvious that it should be in spam, I don't get its purpose whatsoever. If I wanted to post a random image I would use spam, I would just make a new thread and I believe it's the incentive of the post count that makes it get so many replies, and the fact it's stickied. Yeah it was ok for a while but I thought discussions were meant to be made, not just an image whereby you can't post unless there's another image you've posted too?

I remember the PAPOY thread used to (not sure if it still does) say that you can't edit your images like on graphic programmes but a lot of them are? Some of the comments in there aren't that much on topic but at least it's discussion unlike the images thread.

Must have been an old rule then? As I remember you weren't allowed to post pictures of celebrities before either.

Celebrities is different and you can if you are releating it to another member under this rule:

1B) You may post pictures of famous people, but only in reference to another picture (for example: "Oh, I think you look like Johnny Depp [picture here]"), if your post is found pointless and nothing to do with anything in this thread; it WILL be removed. (Same goes for random google images).

But in regards of edited photos that must have been a while back, not something we would try and block nowadays.

Yeah beforehand celebrities weren't allowed, must have been a while back too. I remember because I met Phil Taylor but didn't post the picture due to the rule .
