i didn't take any pics of my 7"s for these so heres one from a while back

@Absently; WELL......... i'm a bit stuck at the moment because i got a new turntable (£400 !) recently as my other one broke but i need a nice pre-amplifier for it, my old one had one internally. but yes i will play them, eventually!!

tbh though i never really bought them to play, i used to spend soo much on cds, and they just weren't worth it when all i was doing was uploading to itunes. so the main reason for me to get vinyl is the download codes, most stay in value (or increase - discogs says my collection is worth approx £7500), love to see them on my shelves, and knowing you have 1 of 100 of something is really cool too.

@Yuxin; i never find anything at charity shops or car boots, too much crap 50s/60s/70s stuff to sieve through. most of mine are through internet buys really, if you buy directly from labels/acts most of them have some sort of extra, like might be signed, diff colour vinyl or free poster. same with indie shops, lots of albums now get "indie exclusives". so yes, lots of expensive pre-orders! will sometimes buy from hmv if they're cheap enough, but i set a rule of £15 or less for hmv.

I can't see the pics on my phone for some reason but I'm amazed that a collection of vinyl could be worth so much money? I'm enjoying this thread though so pls keep going xx
