I met my partner through a friend. We first intially talked on fb but were seeing other people then a year later we were on the same night out and things went from there. Personally I wouldnt say I initially fell in love with him. It was wierd at the time but then I suppose I got comfortable and then I fell in love. We have been together for 2 years and were engaged so I suppose it worked out. I moved half way down the country for his new job so I must love him.
