How/where did you meet your partner?

Tell us the story of your first encounter/s with your most recent partner and how y'all fell in love. For those that met in unconventional ways, do you have a backup fake story at hand for when people undoubtedly ask? Why? E.g. Met on grindr/habbo/pof = met "through friends".

We met on Facebook but we went to the same school together as kids. She lives just down the road from me.

weirdly enough, i don't really think anyone tends to ask us how we met?? we just say on an online forum and that's about it, only some people know it's a habbo forum

Yeah we say we met on the internet, mostly people don't ask further (altho some do and I was even asked if I met her on WoW lol) and I just say an online community/forum and we kept in contact throughout the years (so they don't think i'm still part of it, see

).

I met mine at my local gym, he taught my spin class and gave me lifts home in the evening as my area is ridiculous when it comes to harassment & crime.

We sort of started going cycling together which then led to meals and such before we finally kinda just happened.
