    DID not done!!!

Well my dad always tried to get me to try out new things as much as he could and while I think he did try the wrong things, he couldn't continue as my mum stopped him because I didn't like it (but I would have eventually found one I liked I'm sure). So my mum screwed up a bit in that regard. And he would always go to parents evenings, award evenings etc. things like that even if I didn't want him to except in my 2nd year of college where I outright told him I don't need him to and he could accept it at this age. I could probably go on a fair amount what my dad did, not so much my mum. Something they both did well when I was in my younger years, however, was just how well they managed.

My mum always sorted out my school stuff for me if I had a problem. Actually, she still tries to email my teachers if I'm having trouble with schoolwork at home That's quite annoying now and I have to be careful what I mention around her about school or she'll email them secretly!

Still, it was really good when I was younger because I never had a single unauthorised absence at secondary school and my teachers would give me extra help if they knew I was having trouble but too shy to ask.

omg that brings back memories. A teacher a few years back said, "yes, I received the email from your mum".. I was like 'WHATTTTT?!?!?!?!?!"

    Meltdown.
