Since changing jobs again last month, I now work with a lot of produce and flowers and it's always interesting to me to learn about where they come from and what affect that has on the product. For example, leeks that are grown in the UK are, on average, considerably smaller than those grown in other parts of the world. Once a year, we get this variety of avocado in called a Godzilla Avocado, and it's HUGE! I've posted a picture of it below. Farming large fruit and vegetables is a large part of some farmers' lives and I see the odd documentary on the TV about it, and most of the things they grow are really impressive.
So we have a little Google based competition here; I'd like you to search the web and find either the largest or most impressive fruit, vegetable, or just any food in general really, as well as the country it was grown in, so do your research! The one I find most impressive shall win.
