Maybe it wasn't but either way it's a good idea for the moderator to note down that they've removed it and to inform the user that the word violates the filter and of course to make a usernote in case the user intentionally makes the mistake again.

Problem with using wildcards and such in filters is that then if Bethany was talking about her next pantomime and wanted to show off that she was playing Widow Twanky that would get filtered, and plenty of other swear words are contained within words which makes it troublesome
yeah it was always annoying playing Habbo and seeing bobba in the middle of a normal sentence lol.
